Switching to static IP

For various reasons I am looking into switching to a static IP.
Does anyone know how these are allocated - will I get the address I am currently on or is there a separate pool reserved for static IP's?
I assume this does not involve a new minimum term, just the one off payment of £5
Thanks,
Dave

Re: Switching to static IP

it's a separate pool and just a one off fee.
