Re: Switched from standard Fibre to Superfast and see no speed change

Thanks for the reply.

It wouldn't be the first time we've had OR out to fix problems with connections/wires etc but when I spoke to Plusnet previously they said there were no issues and I was above the minimum DL threshold. ☹️

Interesting - do you know what your MGALS is? - IIRC it is on the 'Broadband' tab in your Members Centre.

The fact that the line is synching at exactly 39999 with an SNR > 6db says to me that its still on a 40/10 profile.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Switched from standard Fibre to Superfast and see no speed change

I would tend to agree there, @MisterW , but the OPs BTW speedtest says 'IP Profile (download) 20MB/s. Confusing or what?

I think so too, but question is what can I do about it?

In that case the downstream must be banded at 40Mb

Ideally we need one of the Help team to do a GEA test...

Agreed, @MisterW , but the question is therefore (why?)?

Hopefully one of the PN Help Team will spot this post - probably not till after the Bank  Holiday now, though.
