I have recently switched from Standard fibre to superfast fibre.
Having run a BT speedtest I can see I am only getting 33Mbps DL and 7 UL.
UL line profile should be upto 20Mbps.
I had 55Mbps DL for a long time but now have seen a biggest decrease.
The odd thing is that the DL has synced at 39999Kbps almost as if it is still on the 10/40 profile.
Can somebody please look into this for me?

Sounds like the upgrade might not have happened.
Can you post the DSL stats from the router Helpdesk page. (redact any personal infomation)
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Is your line capable of supporting higher speeds? Post the results when you put your phone number in the BTW DSL Checker - making sure you hide your number.
Do you have a filtered Master Socket, or are you using dangly filters?

Many thanks for the reply.
No, not on a fixed IP.

Thanks for the reply,
Does this help?
Master socket is the BT fitted double filtered faceplate.

It does in a way - it says in effect you are too far from the cab to benefit from 80/20.

I had 55Mbps for a long time. We have 2x Fibre lines to the property (both in the same cable just different pairs) the other gets 62Mbps.

The other thing to note is that I currently have 8.0dB Downstream SNRM at 39999 kbps.
When I had 54395 kbps I was at 3 dB.

That's not that straight forward as from this morning I swapped the hub one for another router. I pretty sure I can give you all the info you could get from the helpdesk stats.
To be clear though the speed drop happened a month ago now hence why I decided to switch to a different router to see if it could help. The speed has been consistently at and around 33Mbps.
I should add that also coupled with a number of main power cuts this week I have disconnected the router today as well although the exchange doesn't seem to have been bothered about it since my speed has stayed the same.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for that - although I have problems interpreting those stats - too much superfluous data, to my mind. There is nothing there (other than the FEC count, which looks high for 7 hours) to explain this - the only conclusion I can draw from the data is that at some point a month ago, your circuit suffered an accident which upset it badly.
Hopefully, @MisterW or @Mustrum might be able to throw more light on it, but I suspect you may have to get Plusnet to involve BT here.
Please note, I'm no expert on FTTC, but I have been around long enough to spot problems.
