Hi
My Technicolor router seems to be getting problematic. It will seem to freeze and lockup making it impossible to connect to via a browser or ping. At that time to connection will drop. Prior to this my line is perfectly stable with typical uptime of around 60 days or so, IIRC.
I spoke to support today and they confirmed that it does seem to be faulty but due to the years I have been with Plusnet the router is no longer in guarantee and so they would only offer to sell me one (around £45) or ask me to sign up for a further locked in 12 months contract to get one for the cost of P&P.
So what is considered to be a "good" and usable router (not sure if it matters about having a modem built in, mine is the huawei Openworld branded modem) and so I was thinking of the Asus AC 68U, does that seem ok...?
Thanks

Thanks for that
I do have a TP Link Wireless action point as the wireless signal isn't very good with the 582 router.
I'll look at the TP-Link option.
