Hi All,
I've had a stable connection for the majority of the last 18months on Unlimited Fibre, but today I seem to be capped at 30Mb/s (using torrents or speedtest) and Upload (Usually sync at 74/20)
Gateway pcl-bng04 and pcl-bng02 both give the same cap at exact 30Mb/s when speed tests etc.
BT wholesale test:
Download Speed 29.58 Mbps / 51.36 Mbps Max Achievable Speed
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 20 Mbps
What gives?

HI
Check the current line speed here.
https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed
If it's dropped ask PN to put it back. If not raise a speed fault and see if that helps.

Can you give us the full results of a BT Wholesale speedtest after you've run the 'further diagnostics' section please.

Hi Chris,
Although the speed was increased to 78 on my profile, the BT one is still showing as 50.. anyway to change this back to 77ish?

That speedtest is odd!
The IP profile on there is showing as 38.72Mb, but you've managed to achieve 12Mb faster than it should allow you to.
We have no control on the IP profile showing on a speedtest, this is controlled by the DLM (Dynamic Line Management) equipment. The link here explains how and why it's there: http://community.plus.net/library/browsing/fttc-dlm-what-it-is-how-it-works/

So to get speed raised again, according to that article, I wait hoping the line is stable for 8-24 days.
