Sudden Xbox One issues with Home Hub 1

For the last week or so I've had issued with Xbox live. Connecting to xbox live itself works fine, but everything else has issues. Connecting to games or parties I can barely do, and when I can I get dissconnected. YouTube and Netflix have started meing slow and laggy.

Its effecting both Xbox one consoles in my flat so its not a Microsoft issue.

I live in the UK, in Weston-super-mare

I have a Home Hub 1 which I've been told is the same as a BT homehub5?

Two Xbox ones are connected to the router, and both are connected wirelessly

Upnp is enabled.

My NAT is open, and has never been anything different.

I have tried hard resetting both consoles and our router, I've tried factory resetting one console and the router, I've enabled upnp, I'm unable to port forward for some reason (shouldn't need to with upnp enabled though), I've cleared one consoles cache, I've removed my profile from one console and redownloaded it, I've even gone as far as plugging everything into walls as oppose to extension cables to see if that helps.

Xbox speeds: Download speed: 29.04 Mbps Upload speed: 1.85 Mbps Packet loss: 0% MTU: 1480 Latency: 153 ms Wireless strength: 70%

Re: Sudden Xbox One issues with Home Hub 1

Hi there,

From testing your line, it seems that your connection is pretty optimal, which suggests that the wireless signal is the problem. It's likely that this will be causing latency (lag) to your service.

Have a look into changing your wireless channel. There are lots of WiFi scanner applications around which can help you identify which channel would be the best to use. If you still have issues from there, then let me know.

Re: Sudden Xbox One issues with Home Hub 1

Is there any chance you could guide me through channel changing, or maybe send a link with a walkthrough please?
