Strange speedtest.

My Broadband Speed Test

Not bad for a 40/2 connection Cool

I must have been really bad in a previous life. This is my 3rd ISP in a row that uses lithium.

Re: Strange speedtest.

I had the same thing for a week or so recently - my download speed went up to ~ 50mbps.

I assume it's related to the new BT 55/10 product - maybe some over enthusiastic OpenReach engineers initially changed some PN customers packages too?

Sadly mine seems to have reverted to 38mbps now.

Re: Strange speedtest.

Hmmm that is strange. Can you do the test again please but do a wired connection test with wifi switched off through this link http://goo.gl/YhO9y

That's wifi again, I don't think there is a way to connect wired (Acer Iconia Tab 8W running W10 Home Insider Preview)

Re: Strange speedtest.

Well that is weird because you are on 40/2 but nothing I can do but say enjoy your service.

Re: Strange speedtest.

Thanks Ben,

The data rate in my Hub One is 1999 / 39952  so it's confusing the heck out of me!

I remember years ago cacheing issues with an AV program caused some really silly speed test results so I downloaded a large file to prevent cacheing problems but as you can see below it is a sustainable download speed
