Strange speedtest.

My Broadband Speed Test

Not bad for a 40/2 connection Cool

I had the same thing for a week or so recently - my download speed went up to ~ 50mbps.

I assume it's related to the new BT 55/10 product - maybe some over enthusiastic OpenReach engineers initially changed some PN customers packages too?

 

Sadly mine seems to have reverted to 38mbps now.

Hmmm that is strange. Can you do the test again please but do a wired connection test with wifi switched off through this link http://goo.gl/YhO9y

That's wifi again, I don't think there is a way to connect wired (Acer Iconia Tab 8W running W10 Home Insider Preview)

The data rate in my Hub One is 1999 / 39952  so it's confusing the heck out of me!

I remember years ago cacheing issues with an AV program caused some really silly speed test results so I downloaded a large file to prevent cacheing problems but as you can see below it is a sustainable download speed
