Strange drop of Line Speed

Dear support team,

 

These days I have been experiencing a strange drop of overall network speed, which is down to 1/3 of what I normally get (as well as below guaranteed speed), and I believe it could be some issue with the line.

 

Here is what I can see from my Plusnet broadband page:

Your broadband service

  • Product: Unlimited Fibre
  • Estimated Download Range: 22 - 36Mbps
  • Estimated Upload Range: 5 - 7Mbps
  • Minimum Guaranteed Speed: 18.2Mbps
  • Current Line Speed (Download): 8Mbps

Would it be possible for someone to look into our issue since our household has two key workers working from home (with one serving the NHS) , and our work heavily depends on the network speed?

Problem solved after an engineer visit.

 

It was due to an aged fiber module in the switch box.
