Still got fibre speed problems

Since August I have been getting download speeds around 41.

DSL Checker says speed should be up to 48.6.

Plusnet estimated line speed is 46.  Happy days.

Since last Sunday my download speed has been as low as 3 and is now steady at 14.

BT Wholesale speed test now shows my IP profile as 14.14.  Can anybody explain or indeed fix this.

Have you checked your phone line for noise, try the quiet line test

Can you hear/have you heard any audible noise on the line - crackles etc.? Use the Quiet Line Test 17070 option 2 if need be. Use a corded phone if possible from the phone master socket.

Our tests are showing a profile mismatch on your line.

I've raised this to our suppliers and we'll update you as soon as we know more.

I'd love to know what's happening with this fault.

"Our support team will respond to your question soon."  This is the last contact from customer support, early Friday morning.  Some kind of feedback would be nice.  Is it a major problem? Is it being sorted? How long is it likely to take?

It's very frustrating to be left hanging.

My IP profile is still 14.26/10 and the latest test shows me getting 8.35/8.11

Why should I be paying for 55/10?
