Still early days for performance, but...

So my Unlimited Fibre Extra service went live on Monday. It's only Wed so maybe speed has yet to improve. I'm currently seeing up to 60Mbps at midday, and 35 - 48Mbps in the eve. Previously on BT's 70Mbps service, I would see 66Mbps+ midday, and mid 50's in the eve. However I'm still using the same ASUS router and external modem as when I was with BT. All I did was change the login details on the router. The router has been rebooted.
Plusnet portal page shows as below - so I guess that explains the current 60Mps max I'm seeing. I don't know what it was at whilst I was with BT.

- Should I disconnect/reconnect the modem?
- Given I have not touched the modem, does there even have to be re-training of the connection to get to max speeds?
- Is this to be expected - is Plusnet's service basically slower/more congested than BTs?
- Should I ignore all the above for a total of 10 days anyway to allow stuff to settle?

Whilst your line is in the training period your sync speeds may vary a bit so that's no immediate concern.
With regards to congestion there are no issues reported in the area you're in at the moment

So it does going into a training period, even though services was previously with BT?

Has settled for now at
- Current line speed:69.6 Mb
So happy with that 🙂
