I updated my ticket with support. I had swapped my Technicolor fibre router out for a better TP-Link one still using the Openreach ECI modem for my fibre connection but swapping back to the PlusNet supplied one today to test things out my speeds are still decimated during peak times. Only getting 45 of the usual 75 at the moment. I'm starting to pull my hair out 😕 If such big fluctuations can occur during peak times does that mean if you're on standard fibre your ds can drop to 24 during peak times and so with me on Fibre Extra mine can drop to 45 or less? I'm just wondering whether it's worth paying for Fibre Extra?

Try doing a speed test using Ethernet and see what speed you get.
