I have upgraded to Unlimited fibre. I just ran a speed test on BT wholesale and although my Upload is now showing a faster speed, the Download is not showing anything like the 60 to 80 mps I am supposed to be getting? If my upload is faster why isn't my download?
Download Speed (Mbps): 36.04
Upload Speed (Mbps) : 15.38
Ping Latency (ms): 21

Hi @patti,
I'm sorry that your download speed is lower than it should be, following your upgrade to fibre extra. I've tested your line and it appears that this issue may now be resolved, as it shows your line as syncing at 71.2mbps down and 20mbps up.

Please let us know whether you're still seeing poor speeds on your side and, if so, whether this is solely affecting wireless connections or if wired connections are affected too.

Sorry to see this, I've just tested your line and we're not seeing any obvious causes. Were you connected over WiFi when you recorded those speeds? If so could you run a test over a wired connection if you can, it's just to see how that compares. - Adam

@Shep41 They're provisioned on 80/20 and while the test is showing a banding of 55mbps, this would be out of date because the sync speed is 71.2mbps so there's nothing showing to be limiting their speeds.

Thanks for getting back to us @patti
Could you give the steps Here a go letting us know how you get on?
If you're still experiencing problems, we'll arrange to send you a new modem/router free of charge, as it looks like the router you've got is fairly old (Almost 5 years) and may not be able to handle the faster speeds that fibre extra provides.
