Speed drops

I should be getting 38 mbps and my speed continues to drop in the evening. Can someone from Plusnet check if there is a fault please.

Re: Speed drops

Sounds like a congestion issue, could you login to router click disconnect wait 10minutes and connect again (known as gateway hopping)

See if this fixes things for you, if not you should raise a fault with plusnet

Re: Speed drops

Hello,

I'm guessing these tests are done over wired? Any chance you can check again in the morning as report back before opening a fault?

Just want to see if it's congestion, and if it is a member staff could hopefully pick it up here.

Re: Speed drops

I have reported it as a fault. I will check again after midnight and again in the morning. They have asked for four tests at different times of the day. Will let you know what they say. Many thanks.

Re: Speed drops

It's been 4 days since I logged a fault (affirmed by Plusnet) still getting stupidly low speeds. Am very unhappy about the time it's taking to get back to me!? (was told it would be within 72 hours) ...
