Speed dropped from 70 down to 15

Hi, I've been having very unstable speeds for several weeks now. I'm on a fibre package for speeds up to 70 which was fine for a month or two and now it constantly hovers around 15-20. 

Weirdly, my plusnet router also seems to drop out with an orange light around once a day for a few mins.

The BT Performance Tester is currently showing 13Mbps, and failed to run the additional tests for some reason

First thing I would check if there has gotten some noise on your landline, causing the speed drops.

You could also dial 17070 option 2 quiet line test which makes it easier to tell.

This sounds remarkably familiar - my speed has gone through the floor in the last 2 weeks, and support don't really care

Mine too. Supposed to be 50Mb but has rarely got over 30Mb. In the last few days I'm lucky if I get over 10Mb.
