Had to cut the power to the modem the other day and having chatted to Ryan, he said it would take 72 hours before the speed would increase again. Still stuck on a line speed of 67.4Mb. Any chance of giving it a shove? I could understand it if I'd been powering the modem on and off but it was a one time event. I was on 78Mb line speed. And at the same time, maybe disconnect the electronics that likes to play with okay lines! 🙂 It would save some hassle!
Thanks
Graham

Hi, I am newbie.
My Bandwidth normally being 52.5Meg is down some 15% (44meg) and has been now for about 10/14 days.
Rebooted everything ... NO change
Tried different router ... NO change
Last time this happened it recovered itself some time later ... not know why.
You have my sympathy.
Where do we raise an issue on the website ... unable to find link.

Went through BT performance test and it reported nothing I wasn't aware of already.
Bandwidth achieved 45MB
I have had this before when my Bandwidth is about 52.5mb then drops to 45ish for a while. Don't really know why.
Tried rebooting router, tried powerline Ethernet instead of wifi, tried original +net router ... all made no difference. Using my own Asus router, RT-N66U.
Decided to let it all take its course for a while and see what happens.
In answer to your post BT states a max 47.42mb so why do I gat 52.5mb a lot of the time.
