One thing you could do is to locate the test socket, remove the two screws on the Master Socket, plug the router in and repost the help desk tab.

 

As you have only just upgraded it may be that you do not have a filtered master socket and your speeds could be limited by any extension wiring you have.

If you scroll down on your Help Desk tab you should see your username and other info.

OK, I only queried the Hub situation as it was showing a very short uptime, but you comment rules that out as a factor.

I only have one master socket, my router goes in direct with no extensions & I have no phones plugged in so no filter.

I would have expected it to be lower, maybe 6 - 8, but the increased level could be something to do with whatever is happening.

I would give @Mustrum 's suggestion a go too.

You need a filter - unless it is a filtered socket, even with no phone attached.

I basically have one socket with a phone socket (empty) and a socket that my router goes in directly.

Well yes I can take a pic of the BT socket. I would re emphasise though that none of this is new equipment or new changes since my swap to fibre plus.

OK - it is a filtered socket, but maybe - if you have a 'dangly' filter - you could try it straight into the test socket, just to rule out a failing internal filter.

Nope, @kwikfix - the one which is exposed if you unscrew those two screws and remove that bottom cover - there should be another socket behind that, into which you plug the filter, then plug your DSL cable into the corresponding socket on the end of the filter.
