Speed Dropped

Hi
Just recently moved from BT where I had a speed of about 25Mbs. Since the move, speed has stayed pretty much the same as was expected. Last week I opted to go to a static IP which needed a router reboot.  Since then, my speed is now showing the following ie I've lost 5 meg which is a big drop. Please can you help me get my speed back to what it was.
(First post so not sure how to add an image - I've attached it instead.)
If image doesn't appear, I am currently showing
Up time of 5 days
Current Rate 20864
Max Rate 25160
SNR 6.3
What what I can based on my SNR my current rate should be a lot closer to the Max.
Hope someone can help.
Thanks

Re: Speed Dropped

Unfortunately there isn't anything we can do to influence your sync speed from here.
A drop of 5mbps will be hard for our suppliers to class as a fault.

Re: Speed Dropped

Thanks for that. 5Mb may not be much to those syncing at 60/70 but when you only have 25 in the first place it is a big drop. I thought sync was supposed to be 90% or something of max rate?
Is another reboot likely to get it back where it was? It's a bit annoying as the modem had been up for weeks and only rebooted to activate my new static IP. Guess I should have left it well alone.
