Speed Drop

Hi,
Hope someone can help me, my line speed has dropped from a constant 78 meg to 63 meg recently.  I left it for a few days to see if it increased,but its remained at 63.  I ran a few test on BT Speed test site this morning.  Drop happened around the outage for plusnet a few weeks ago, and speaking to my other half she admitted that she switched off the modem a few times as she couldn't surf the web.
Can someone from the support team maybe have a look at my line please?

yeah switching off the modem like that isn't great DLM will see it as a fault and impose restrictions until it thinks everything is ok again which can take time it's not uncommon to wait weeks for it to return to normal that's if there is no actual fault, I'm sure someone from the DCT will be able to see if a fault exists or if it's just DLM.

I recently had DLM drop me from (sync speeds) of 80 down to 72, as a result of the "standard" initial settings; a 10-20% drop seems typical from DLM intervention.
Other amounts of speed reduction are likely to come from crosstalk.
