Re: Speed Drop

FTTC Range A (Clean)	49.9	35	11.8	7.2	--	Available
FTTC Range B (Impacted) 42.8 24.7 11.8 5.2 -- Available

What does it mean by clean and impacted ? , my line was a new copper pair to the box @ 0.5 miles
Can somrone have a look please?

Clean means just that, a copper line with no issues. Impacted means a line with issues, or a bad quality line.

Your probably another victim of the G.INP issues that thousands of people are going through right now!

Dont think it shows on the GUI.
But you can telnet to your HG612 and run the following commands.
sh

then
xdslcmd info --pbParams

If you see a reference to Bearer 1 then its enabled. If you only see Bearer 0 then its unlikely to be enabled.
Here are stats from a HG612 with G.INP enabled.
# xdslcmd info --pbParams
xdslcmd: ADSL driver and PHY status
Status: Showtime
Retrain Reason: 1
Last initialization procedure status: 0
Max: Upstream rate = 34743 Kbps, Downstream rate = 97268 Kbps
Bearer: 0, Upstream rate = 20000 Kbps, Downstream rate = 79999 Kbps
Bearer: 1, Upstream rate = 0 Kbps, Downstream rate = 0 Kbps

This is what you are looking for. If you only have the first line, Bearer : 0, then its NOT enabled.
Bearer: 0, Upstream rate = 20000 Kbps, Downstream rate = 79999 Kbps
Bearer: 1, Upstream rate = 0 Kbps, Downstream rate = 0 Kbps

Re: Speed Drop Ticket #102929080

Come on PN , never had to call for any problems in the years i have been with you , no it seems you cant answer a fault within the stated 24hrs , are there that many tickets open that you are under staffed to deal with,
Seems like i have lost half my upload now Sad and with a 18.5db ATTN i should at least get more than 30mb even the checker say 50mb hi not thinking i will get that but i should be high 30 low 40 mark

Re: Speed Drop Ticket #102929080

Your ticket will be picked up shortly, I can only apologise for the delay in picking it up. We are a little behind at the moment.
As for resetting the line, this, I'm afraid, can't be done from our end. You need an engineer to find a fault first and then (s)he'd do it as part of the fix.
