Sorry, your auto login cannot be activated at this time.

Hi,

I've tried for several days now to setup auto login connection but I keep getting the above "error", can someone please tell me if this is only me or have other people got this?

And if it's only me, how do I fix this please?

Thanks

Hi @mexicano,

Thank you for getting in touch through the Community.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues. Could I ask, what auto login are you trying to set up? Is this for a WiFi connection on a particular device for example?

Thanks

Hi Warwick,

I've attached a screenshot of what I am trying to do.

This will probably explain better.

Re: Sorry, your auto login cannot be activated at this time.

Hi @mexicano

I've just tested auto-login and it's definitely up and running.

The facility to enable auto-login is based on your browser being able to store cookies, so I'd recommend clearing your browser cache and ensuring cookies is enabled. Also bear in mind that auto-login will only work on one device at a time, so if you have it active already on another device you'll need to disable it before activating it on another one.

In addition to the above, I'd also recommend trying different browsers/devices if your initial one fails.

Let us know how you get on

Best wishes

Dave

Fix

Hi,

I use the latest Firefox browser and I cleared cache and cookies but I still got the same error message, BUT, after I disabled my adblocker add-on I was able to activate the auto login!!!

Now I'm searching for an adblocker that won't interfere like that.

So thanks for the help and quick replies.

No problem at all @mexicano, glad you got this sorted.

If there's anything else you need, just drop me a line.
