I switched to Plusnet from Vodafone two weeks ago. My download speed was usually around 62-65 Mbps, but I've just received an e-mail from Plusnet saying my speed has been set at 54.4 Mbps. Why has my line been profiled at such a slow speed and what can I do to fix that?

I've run some tests on the line this afternoon which appear to show that the line is in sync, within the speeds which were estimated as per your contract with ourselves.
Saying that, I've reset the connection profile on the account to 78000, however this may not have a huge impact on your download speeds, which at the moment, came in at around 63.1Mbps. Please note that devices connected over wireless will report a lower speed, so to gain a more accurate reading, please connect a device to your router via Ethernet cable, and let us know how you get on.

Thanks, I appreciate the speedy response. I always test hardwired to the router, so 63Mbps sounds in line with usual performance. Just didn't want to be unnecessarily capped at 54Mbps when I know the line can sustain faster.
