Slower speed since moving

Hello, 

I have moved home last week and was getting around 56/57MB at my old property. Since moving to this new place I only get 37MB. 

 

I am able to get Gigafast (100/100 or 900/900). Is it possible to cancel Plusnet without a termination fee as the speeds are much slower than when I signed the contract.

Firstly I’d check if you’ve been provisioned correctly by looking at your sync speed in your router settings. 

If you’re using a Plusnet router this will normally be in the Troubleshooting/helpdesk tab when you log in at http://192.168.1.254

Also is your router plugged into the master telephone socket? Try using the test socket: https://community.plus.net/t5/Library/Testing-From-The-Master-Socket/ba-p/1322242

Check the downstream speed in your router after and if there’s no change to where you’d expect the speed, raise a fault at http://faults.plus.net

This will create a fault ticket and get you into the queue for Plusnet to investigate further. It’ll probably end up to an Openreach engineer.
