Hi I switched to Plusnet today but my speed has dropped a lot. I was getting the full 80 Mbps with TalkTalk but now I’ve switched I’m only getting 64 Mbps.
Will my speed increase do you think?

Hi there @thomasmortin18,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
When your service goes live your router and line have a 10 day training period. During this time your speed will behave erratically while the line settles. Toward the back end of the 10 days you should start to see the speeds quoted at sign up. If you are still experiencing issues after the 10 days have finished please get back in touch so we can investigate further.
Thank you.

Sync speed seems to be increasing
On fibre is it possible to request a 3DB SNR profile?
I believe that would get me upto the full 80

It is already set at 3dB, though yours hasn't got there yet
A possible reason is the short uptime of 12 Hours 5 Minutes 48 Seconds
(if you're restarting the router then that might be the reason)
It might be worth waiting for a member of staff to check if there's a line issue.

Hi @thomasmortin18, I've tested your line which shows you to currently be in sync at 74.9mb, which is within estimates.
I'm afraid on Fibre we can't request 3dB, if you have any further queries please just get back to us.
