Slow upload speed

After switching from BT to Plusnet my upload speed is very slow, i was getting 80/20+ mbps with BT infinity 2, now my download speed is a little slow for what im paying, but not my up, i have gone back to using my home hub 4 router, so i can use the internet more than 10 feet away, but still slow up speeds?

Which Plusnet Fibre product are you on?
That speed test result suggests you may be on the Plusnet 'Unlimited Fibre' product, this product is sold as 'Up to 38Mb'  download speed (and 'up to 1.9Mb' upload), if you're on Plusnet 'Unlimited Fibre Extra' then the speeds are 'up to 76Mb' download and 'up to 19.5Mb' upload.
I just tested my 'up to 38Mb' connection and got a result of 42.31Mb/s from that tester so it might give slightly optimistic results at times - I typically get 37 - 38 on most other testers.

As w23 suggests, this is simply due to the product you've elected to take. We offer 2 FTTC services, one provided on the 40/2 service and the other on the 80/20 service.

Thanks for the reply, but when plusnet asked me to move to them, they said they will guarantee to mach BT infinity 1 speeds i was getting (before moving to 2)  which was 40/20 most of the time more like 50/18, and thats why i when with them.
