Slow internet

Hi all,
Don't know if anyone can help me. Sometimes when I visit websites no pictures show or page takes ages to load. Is it my speed or my PC. It only started doing this past few weeks it was ok prior to this.

Gosh, there are so many possibilities.  Some questions that might help lead to a better result for you.
Have you tried a different browser, such as Chrome or Firefox?
Are you using wired or wireless connection from the PC to the router?  All sorts of odd things can happen with wireless.
Can you do a speedtest, probably http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html ; That might help sort out where the issue lies.
Also speedtest at http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/, and run Further Diagnostics and post all the results.
Have you got a friend with another computer you can test on your broadband connection?
And quite a few more, but that is a start ....

hi,
Im on a wired connection. ive done a speed test came to 37mbs which when I joined plus net was getting 60mbs

As sjptd says, there are numerous things that can be causing the problem. We'll take a look at why the speeds have dropped from 60 to 37Mbit later, this seems to be unrelated.
Did you have any joy with a different browser, or device? Do you use other computers/systems? What DNS settings do you have entered currently?
