Slow fibre speeds - new customer!

Hi all,

I've been reading through some of your posts and they're all really helpful but well over my head in terms of technicality!

I've moved to Plusnet recently, from BT where I was getting around 42-50Mb on their lower fibre package after frequent testing. I'm on the "up to 38MB" fibre package with Plusnet but am getting low 20Mbs at best any time I run the tests.

I've attached some screenshots and would really appreciate some assistance here. Speed tests were all done by ethernet cable and I followed the BT wholesale test guidelines to the letter. This is extremely frustrating and making me question the move!

Thanks in advance Smiley

Becky

Re: Slow fibre speeds - new customer!

I can see you've reported a fault regarding this.

Our tests have actually found a external fault which has gone through to our suppliers to be fixed.

We'll update you as soon as we know more.
