Slow fibre... 0.5 upload and 4.5 download

Our fibre connection seems to be getting slower.

latest speed test is:

4.5 download

0.5 upload

BT say we should get a minimum guaranteed 10 download - with expected upto 19MB

Do we have to renew contracts to get the guaranteed minimums?

Sorry to hear you're having speed issues Guy.

We don't restrict your speeds for being out of a contract term, so renewing won't make a difference to that, but feel free to ask the account holder to call us on 0800 013 2632 for a new deal.

Line tests aren't showing any issues and we can see your router in sync at 13.1mbps with no drops over the past 32 days.

Are your devices connecting over WiFi or straight to the router using an ethernet cable?

If you're using WiFi, would you be able to try a wired connection? This will help narrow down where the problem lies.
