Slow download speeds

Hi, should be getting min 36mb a second, but have checked the last few days and am only getting 12-13mb max. Any chance someone could take a look? Thanks!

Thanks for getting in touch.

Sorry to hear you are not getting the estimated speeds there, are you seeing these numbers over a wired or Wifi connection?

I have tested your broadband and telephone service and your circuit is in sync at 40.0 Mbps down and 10.0 Mbps up.

If you are experiencing issues over your Wifi connection have you tried changing the channels on your router? You can find the guide here.

Amazing! Went into the router settings and refreshed the "smart wireless", went from 12mb to 38mb in a couple of minutes. Thanks for your help, will know to try this in future if the speed dips again. Much appreciated.

No worries @hubleo glad its working for you! As a side note I'd suggest getting a Wi-fi analyser app - it'll let you know which channels are the best and which have the most interference.
