Slow download from iTunes

I've recently tried downloading a lot of material from iTunes. I'm on Business Fibre Unlimited. Plusnet say I'm getting 78Mbps which I certainly get with other downloads on my set up but not from iTunes. These downloads typically start at 40Mbps and can get slower. Just for clarity this is on a PC with ethernet cable straight to the Plusnet Hub with nothing else running and can get 78Mbps on other downloads. Downloads from iTunes via Virgin also get this download speed as well.

Question is iTunes and/or Plusnet limiting the downloads speed?

Hi there,

This likely due to being on one of our business packages as they're not optimised for that kind of usage. 

Are the connections on the other providers you've mentioned residential or business packages?

Virgin was residential. I don't recall reading of this sort of limitation anywhere. Is there anything we can do?
