Slow connection

Hi,

My connection speed has been around 34 for months.  For the last few weeks it has dropped to around 25.

My 18 month contract ended and this week renewed on fibre extra.   Speed is still around 25.

Can anyone help, thanks.

Re: Slow connection

Almost identical to the issue I'm having at the moment: until a couple of weeks ago I'd had a stable download speed of 35 for the duration of my 12-month contract. It dropped to 22 and over the last couple of days it's dropped again to 19. I've got an engineer's visit booked for next week.

Are you connected via Ethernet to the master socket?

Re: Slow connection

Hi @feet

We're seeing this in sync at (roughly) the same speed. I've raised this to our suppliers and they're requested your availability for an engineer visit.

If you could provide that via the open fault ticket on your account here we'll get that booked in for you.

Best wishes

Dave

Re: Slow connection

Hi, Engineer found a network connection block that was full of water, a few streets away on my line. He also replaced the old wire to my master socket.

Could I request a GEA test to see what my line is now capable of supplying? Thanks.
