Openreach came today, no fault found but very slow broadband speed (5meg) changed fibre port , speed goes up to 22Meg , after 2 hours speed back down to 6 Meg. This scenario has been happening for the past 6 years , I reckon I have received reasonable service for about 6 months out of the past 6 years.
Hi there, disappointing to hear things have declined again after the visit.
I've just performed a diagnostic test on the line and that's flagging up a "high resistance cable fault" that would be something we'd need to arrange for an engineer to take a look at so I'm sorry the engineer didn't pick up on that during the visit.
I've rejected the clear we've received on the fault and it should allow me to book an appointment later today.
