Slow WiFi

Hello new to this  just had fibre extra fitted a few weeks ago thought my speed was low until I directly linked laptop to router with cable  getting speeds of 60 to 70.

But when I do speed test with phone or tablet right next to router I get speeds of 30 with all other devices turned off.

Do I need to change setting in router or could it be faulty.

Any help would be appreciated

If you only experience these problems on a wireless, but it's fine on a wired connection, this could point to wireless interference or similar.

Along with the advice @Baldrick1 has given, could you try changing the wireless channel you're connecting on to see if this gives you a more consistent wireless connection.
