Slow Fibre Extra broadband

It's now the 7th day since my fibre went live, the speed sits at a solid 20mbs.
However it's nowhere near the speed I was expecting, I know Im to wait 10 days but I just can't see how it's going to increase on the 10th day.

I've attached some info from my router hoping someone can help.

Hi @Moneeb

I agree that this is much slower than we'd expect.

Could you please plug your router into the test socket as shown here and if the speeds don't improve to at least 35mb/s, raise a fault here so that we can ask our suppliers to investigate this for you.

Best wishes

Dave

Re: Slow Fibre Extra broadband

So I tried it plugged into the test socket last night and to my surprise the speed jumped instantly to 48mbs.
However I woke up today to find it's back at 20mbs.
I left it plugged into my test socket.

Re: Slow Fibre Extra broadband

Hi @Moneeb

A GEA test shows your sync speed to be roughly 23Mbps - this is lower than your minimum guaranteed speed.

Due to the time it has been since your last message on this thread, could you please confirm if you are still in the test socket? If so, please raise a fault here and let us know once done.

Kind Regards,

MoR
