I have recently upgraded from ADSL to Fibre and every evening from around 6pm onwards, the throughput speed drops from around 37mbps to as low as 9mbps. I spoke to a gentleman over the weekend and it was suggested I could be moved to a less hot connection as it was likely due to congestion, but someone would get back to me.
I have gone through general troubleshooting and since i got an extra hub one with the upgrade I have swapped to that together with all the new cables and I am currently connected directly to the master socket and I am using an Ethernet cable. There may be some low level background buzz on the phones but nothing I would otherwise notice and from what I am told by family, the connection is good during the day with consistently high speeds.

Hi @rd1956, I'm sorry that you're experiencing poor speeds during the evening.
I've tested your line today and, as you've mentioned, it's currently showing that the equipment that you're connected to at the exchange (the VLAN) is congested. I've asked our suppliers to move you onto a "cooler" (less congested) VLAN and they have advised that this will be done within 24-48 hours.
Our faults team will be back in touch once you've been moved over, if the issue is still ongoing at this stage they will investigate further for you.
