Slow Broadband Speeds

Hi

 

Noticed slow responses on broadband. Tested first with Ookla and reported 1.5Mb download (contracted for 30Mb). Rebooted router etc. Connected direct to router with cable. Ran the BTwholesale test. Reported 1.5 down  1.08 up. Tried 'Further Diagnostics' reported 'during the test an error occurred while trying to retrieve additional details regarding your service'. This occurs every time I run the test. Anyone know what I can do next?

Can you try another reboot?

Thanks for that, Tried before reboot and still 1.5M after reboot now 34M, Can you tell me what the problem was and is it something I can avoid in the future?

There was a stuck profile that was incorrectly causing your speeds to be restricted.

I've updated it to the correct level which is now giving you the correct speeds.
