Signed Up to Unlimited Fibre Broadband But...

It's too much of a coincidence to me.

Been with Plusnet for broadband for years and the day my Fibre upgrade is activated on Friday our phone line goes down!

No dial tone and no internet.

Plusnet have arranged for an engineer on Tuesday.

Is this just a coincidence? Having some understanding of what the problem could be other than just a fault on the line would help...

Hi @mouseblack, sorry to hear you're experiencing problems with your services.


I see the notes on the fault report suggest that the test came back simply advising of a potential fault on the copper network, so I'm afraid there's not much detail to go on at the moment just from the external line tests we can run here.


While it does seem like incredibly coincidental timing, faults can occur at any time, but the engineer should hopefully be able to give more insight in to the actual cause of the problem following the visit on Tuesday.
