Settings for ASUS DSL-AC68, replacing OpenReach modem and Plusnet wirelss router

Here's the settings I've used on an ASUS DSL-AC68U combined VDSL (FTTC) modem wireless router
Which has allowed me to replace the BT OpenReach modem (A Huawei EchoLife HG612) and not have to get the "free" PlusNet wireless router for £5.99
Hope this helps someone:
WAN - Internet Connection
WAN Type: DSL VDSL WAN (PTM) - I had to change this from ADSL WAN (ATM)
WAN Connection Type PPPoE
802.1q Enable Yes - Not mentioned in PlusNet guides
VLAN ID 101 - Not mentioned in PlusNet guides
Get the WAN IP automatically Yes
Connect to DNS Server automatically Yes
User Name xxxxx@plusdsl.net
Password xxxxx
Enable WAN Yes
Enable NAT Yes
Enable UPnP Yes
Administration - DSL Setting
Required:
DSL modulation VDSL2 or Multimode
Annex mode Annex B or Annex B/J
Bitswap (VDSL) Enabled
VDSL Profile 30a multi mode
optional for more throughput - your mileage may vary
Dynamic Line Adjustment (ADSL) Enabled
Stability Adjustment (ADSL) 4 dB
Stability Adjustment (VDSL) 5 dB
Tx Power Control (VDSL) 3 dB
Rx AGC GAIN Adjustment (VDSL) High Performance
UPBO - upstream power back off (VDSL) Disabled
SRA (Seamless Rate Adaptation) Disabled
Bitswap (ADSL) Enabled
G.INP (G.998.4) Enabled
G.vector (G.993.5) Enabled

im pretty sure that in the uk the vdsl mode used is 17a and not the 30a

Upstream Power Back Off should be enabled, otherwise you could cause problems for others on your cabinet who have longer lines than yours. It's one of the mandatory Openreach specified requirements, as is seamless rate adaptation.
