Service outage

I have no connection and the status page shows outages for my area , do I still need to contact plusnet or do I just wait for openreach to repair. I expect the floods have caused the issue and expect they will be busy.

Re: Service outage

It looks like you're affected by the outage in Cumbria.
I've raised it to our Faults team so we can keep tracking this for you.

Re: Service outage

Thanks, a little internet outage is nothing compared to the flooded houses down the road.

Re: Service outage

Any updates , planned maintenance for last Friday now removed from service status page and no new info. Was told by customer service there would be an update on Saturday 12/12.

Re: Service outage

Fault looks like it's been repaired. Will i be credited for loss of service automatically?

Re: Service outage

Not automatically from my understanding. You'll need to contact Customer Support and make the request.
I've never had any problems gaining compensation when outages/faults arise.
Worth a try.
