Hi,
I have got my fibre installed after a long wait of 3 years
However I noticed during peak hours (evenings in my case) the download speed is only about 2-3Mbps while in the morning of today (Sunday) it could reach the max speed...
So wondering is that because of the traffic management, or anything else that I am not aware of?
The router is syncked at 39973kbps for over 2 days, so the speed varies should not because of a re-sync.
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Chong

Try bouncing your router (Not the modem). Either power off or use the 'disconnect' option if it has one. Leave it disconnected for five minutes, then let it reconnect. IMPORTANT: Bounce the router do NOT do anything to the modem.
There has been an on-going problem with PN's network for nearly a year now. For more information you could look at the lengthy 'Capacity issues' thread.
