Rubbish Service

I have been 'upgraded' to the fibre service now for 44 days, of these I have only been able to access the internet for 17  days.
I currently have no service, it has been off now for 5 days.
I have had 4 failed appointments by bt engineers who appear to ignore me.
I am totally at a loss as to what to do.
I am fed up phoning Plusnet and listening to extremely annoying music.
My only resort is to seek legal advice,
A very very disgruntled customer.

Hi Jmsholmes,
Just a suggestion, assuming you have the openreach and plusnet modem, can you try turning both off for an hour then turn them back on. Turn off plusnet then openreach. Then after an hour turn back on openreach then the plusnet one.

I'm very sorry to see that you've had problems.
I'm sure the team dealing with your issues have already raised escalations for you. Our team are now looking to re-appoint for you and do everything we can to restore service.

EDIT: I'm on with BTw now to find out what's happened. I will update your ticket when I get further details.

Not always the case. Some email come with answer on it but no link. And other email come with answer with a ticket link on it. It's just hit and a miss sometimes on email.

Thanks for all your consideration.
I am only able to post on here and read emails after purchasing a Vodafone Mobile wi-fi device - very useful, if I cant get this sorted this may be the way to go!
We seem to be in the same position we were in about three weeks ago, what annoys me is that no one has been to my house to ascertain the problem I am just left staring into space waiting for this phantom engineer to visit.
Ah well - life has its ups and downs
