Hi, I'm having problems of late with major buffering as a viewer of Twitch livestreams, to the extent that they largely will not play at all most of the time. I am also a livestreamer (uploading my stream to Twitch) and I get random disconnections and bursts of dropped frames with regularity, which started about two weeks ago. These disconnects or bursts of dropped frames are accompanied by my upload bit rate through Open Broadcaster Software momentarily approaching or hitting zero.
I have gone through various steps to troubleshoot this. A common suggestion is a routing issue between the ISP and Twitch, so I tried doing the suggested traceroute (tracert) to Twitch, and as far as I can understand the traceroute doesn't complete. Therefore, is there some sort of routing issue that Plusnet needs to fix here?
I can repeat the traceroute and it gets stuck every time at vhsaccess1-pos2-0.faraday.fixed.bt.net [195.99.127.5] ------ EDIT: Repeating now and it gets stuck at a slightly different location (peer1-xe-11-0-1.faraday.ukcore.bt.net [213.121.193.201]) but it's still that faraday ... bt.net address.
Tracing route to live.twitch.tv [23.160.0.80]

My internet package is Unlimited Fibre Extra and speed tests all show good results usually around 65-70 down and 15-20 up). I haven't noticed any other issues with the service. It seems to be uniquely a problem of when I try to do things with Twitch, but I stream to a channel which has several other streamers both in the UK and other parts of the world, and they're having no issues.

It's become a common problem in the last week and a half. Log a fault over at http://faults.plus.net.
Also, do you happen to know your IP and gateway? I'm trying to tally up the addresses people are struggling with to see if there's a common link.

Thank you for the links, I can see I'm not alone in this!
My WAN IP is 51.9.xx.xx
Default Gateway 192.168.1.254 - although judging by people's talk about gateway hopping on one of those threads, I don't think that's what you were after?

I've posted the gateway twice and each time the reply seems to get deleted ...
