Router supplied for Fibre upgrade

Hi - I will be receiving my upgrade pack soon to move from ADSL to fibre and currently have  a TG582n with firmware 8-4-4-J.
What router will I get in the pack? I would prefer to use the old one as it is part of  a network including a PVR , media server and a bridge and  the config was worked out a long time ago.
It would be great if I could just upgrade the firmware.
Is that possible without losing the config - which is saved btw
thanks
Grant.

Re: Router supplied for Fibre upgrade

Hi Grant Smiley
The new router currently being sent out for Fibre services is the Sagemcom 2704N, this unit can be used on both ADSL and Fibre connections and some forum users have been hacking away at it to allow further settings changes if you would like a more advanced network : https://community.plus.net/forum/index.php?topic=137629.0
