Router says i am connected but cannot access ANY websites

Hi everyone....really need some help please!

My Plusnet fibre broadband was installed Thursday last. The router shows a blue light and my laptop says l am connected to Plusnet internet with a strong signal.

However the hub manager will not recognise my username or password and l am unable to access ANY websites!

I'm not a techie so any advise would be much appreciated....many thanks

@roboco5  Welcome to the forum.

What is showing as your username? If it's setup@plusdsl.net then try a factory reset by pushing a paperclip or similar into the router reset hole. Keep the switch closed for at least 25 seconds. Then leave it for a quarter of an hour to see if that fixes it. If this fails then you can put your user name and password in manually. Before you do this you need to disconnect your link to the outside world. You can either use the disconnect tab on the router or simply take out the DSL lead. Your username and password are those that you use to log into your account except that your username should be followed by @plusdsl.net. You then need to remake the DSL connection.

Quick update...suddenly came to life and seems to be working fine now!
