Router reset

Hi all, I’m having trouble with my connection so i’m going to reset my router. However when i press and hold reset its not doing anything! Held it for over a minute and no change? has anyone else experienced this?

Are you pushing a paper clip or pin into the reset pin hole at the back? Do you feel a click when you do?
