Router recommendations

Hi, can anybody recommend a good cheap wifi router?

This plusnet thing is by far the worst I've ever had the misfortune of being sent. in all my years I've never seen my devices lose connection as often as they have since installation friday, and that is over ethernet as well as wifi (yet the hub reports a stable connection since setup)

Need to sort something asap or I'm off (which would be a royal PITA right now)

Go onto an auction site such as EBay and pay very little money for a BT Smarthub 6. Setting instructions are here. https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Router/Using-the-BT-Smarthub-6-on-a-Plusnet-Account/m-p/1587673#M85...

They both look and perform far better than Plusnet hubs. They work on both ADSL and fibre.

Re: Router recommendations

Kicking myself I threw out a bunch of old routers a few months back, one of which was a smarthub 6. Had I known they could be used with other ISPs I would have had it working with virgin this last year too.

I'll have a look. cheers 👍

BT hubs do not work with all ISPs. However they can be set to work on a Plusnet service.
