Router losing connection

Plusnet supplied router is losing connection fairly frequently. Attached is my log of WAN entries.

 

I want to add that the speed has always been as advertised - no problems there.

Hi there.

Our tests aren't showing a definitive cause for the issue, but we can see there have been drops.

Can you confirm what firmware your router is running on? You can find out by logging in to your router settings at http://192.168.1.254 and scrolling down to the bottom of the page.

We may need to update the firmware if it's on an old one.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Hi @bailtree, thank you, this version shouldn't be causing the drops you are seeing.

 

Can you have a run through our troubleshooting guides here and connect your router to the test socket as shown here.

 

If you notice the drops continue after completing these, can you raise it as a fault here and let us know once done so.
