Router for fibre AND cable broadband

Currently, I have the luxury of PlusNet 40/20 FTTC and VM 30Mbps cable broadband and I'm looking at buying my own router. It must be capable of being used for fibre and cable but I'm unsure what to look at. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

If you want to connect either one rather than both at the same time then a simple cable router that connects to the modem via ethernet cable will work.
