Router colour keeps changing between blue and orange

Was using laptop working at home when suddenly I lost access to the internet. I checked the router and it was orange. I restarted it and, after boot up sequence, it went blue. I was however unable to access the router. It now intermittently changes from blue to orange. I have plugged the phone line into the master switch but this has made no difference. Please help!

@Rusty77 The first thing I would do is check you haven't got a phone line problem see:- https://www.plus.net/help/phone/phone-line-troubleshooting/

Are you on ADSL or Fibre? And welcome to the forums.

Hi John thank you for your reply. Phone line is fine. Although on checking the router the ‘b‘ light has also now lit up.

OK, @Rusty77 . I'm going to ask for this to be moved to the 'Fibre' board, as my intended line of support doesn't apply to Fibre connections, and I don't have experience in that area.

I have exactly the same problem and have done for at least a month.

PLUSNET I would be interested in what you think the problem is as I've checked everything i can check and listed on your help pages.
