Router and activation day

Got my new router and today is my activation day, the router has the red broadband light on which according to the set up book means I've tried to log in with the wrong username and password. How do I know what the right username and password is?

Welcome to the forums

It is the username and password you use to log on to the Plusnet Member Centre. https://portal.plus.net/index_nlp.html

Also the username is in the format myusername@plusdsl.net

Okay thank you, nothing changed so it must not have activated yet. Not sure why it would show that light instead of the orange light though. Oh well I'll wait

If today is your activation day then it can be anytime upto midnight although normally it happens during normal working hours i.e. 8am to 6pm, for obvious reasons.

Yeah I know, just thought I might have done something wrong. Hope it activates soon, I haven't had internet for 14 days 😩

If you're concerned, give Plusnet a ring to confirm that it is today. 

And yes internet withdrawal is a serious condition Smiley.
